Itineraries
Day One    
Morning
Relaxed
Armstrong Redwoods Docent lead tour. Be guided through the park and taught about the wildlife, plants and ecosystems as you stroll beneath the Redwoods. Finish with a barbeque or basket lunch at the picnic area. There is plenty or room to bring a Frisbee or football.

Armstrong Redwoods Hike to Bullfrog from the entrance. Make the 1100 foot climb to bullfrog pond along Eastridge Trail. Stop at the looking points along the way for some great views. Hike back down to your car along Pool Ridge Trail and through the Redwood grove.
  Afternoon
Relaxed
Play at Goat Rock State Beach and catch a sunset. Goat Rock lies at the mouth of the Russian River across the water from the town of Jenner. Watch the Harbor Seals, play in the dunes, fly a kite, play catch, hike along the beach or along the cliffs, skip rocks in the Russian River.

Active
Goat Rock coastal hike. Hike the Kortum Trail along the pacific coast.

Day Two    
Morning
Relaxed
Visit Lake Sonoma fish hatchery to learn about the life cycle of salmon. Have a picnic lunch and explore Lake Sonoma.

Active
Fishing - choose Lake Sonoma, the Russian River, or the coast. Finish up with a picnic lunch and optional short hike at Vista Point along the coast north of Jenner
  Afternoon
Relaxed
Drive to Pomo Canyon environmental campground to set up camp and explore the area. Cook your fishing catches for dinner.

Park at the place on the coast and hike in to Pomo Canyon environmental campground to set up camp and explore the area.


Day Three    
Morning
Option One
Play at bodega dunes, pick up lunch items in Bodega Bay, then head north to Duncan's landing for lunch and entry into the afternoon's activities.

Option Two
Explore Salt Point park.
  Afternoon
Option One
Explore tide pools along the coast.

Option Two
Kayak along the coast -provided weather is fair and sea is calm. If not then can kayak Bodega Bay.
 
Evening
Option One
Have a nice dinner at Bodega Bay or Jenner overlooking the ocean and a possible sunset.

Option Two
Head to Armstrong Redwoods or Lake Sonoma to set up camp, fish, canoe and or explore the area.
